Blandford Nature Center

Blandford Nature Center is a 100-acre wildlife preserve located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In addition to being a great place for families and nature enthusiasts to learn about the animals and plants that inhabit the area, the park offers unique opportunities for bird watching, hiking, picnicking, and cross-country skiing.

The Blandford Nature Center offers a bird-watching trail designed to give families an up-close view of the different species of birds that make their homes in this part of Michigan. For hikers, there are over 10 miles of trails that wind through the center's vast forests and fields, providing access to many small ponds that attract waterfowl and songbirds.

Picnickers will enjoy the large pavilion that overlooks the Grand River, as well as the many tables and benches located throughout the preserve. Cross-country skiers can take advantage of the 5 kilometers of trails that are groomed and lit for night skiing.
